Viscosity of fluids changes with temperature in a different way (in accordance with their activation energy of viscous flow). This is why it is more correct to compare viscosities measured at the same temperature. Viscosities of these fluids (DMSO and EG) change slightly depending on manufacturer. For DMSO viscosity at 20°C is 1.996 cP; at 25°C – 1.966 cP. For EG viscosity at 20°C is 19.83 cP; at 25°C – 16.9 cP. Also, you should take into account that both DMSO and EG are hygroscopic fluids and water content strongly affects viscosity.
