Any recommendations for seeding density after thaw and also for maintenance passaging of MRC-5 cells?
I can't seem to find reference to specific cell densities for MRC-5 cultures. ATCC only lists ratios and many other refs I found say density is important but doesn't actually give a number of cells/cm2!

I have subcultured at 7-80% confluency, in which case it has grown in good health with no major problems.

In this article (Article Optimization of a MRC-5 Cell Culture Process for the Product...
) they say that the optimal seeding density is 1x10^4 cells/cm2. Hope this helps, good luck!
