I prefer to run the open examination and open discussion during the examination for graduate level (MSc and PhD) courses. I believe that examination is a part of learning process. So, the students can share their ideas and discuss with each others during the exam to learn more. I am leaving the examination room as well. However, I design the questions in such a way that they should measure in-depth knowledge of students about the topic. The time of examination is also fixed. What is your idea about my style of examination?
