Content is the most important part of the online teaching because devil is in the details. The content should be enough to last for 3/4 time of the lecture, demonstration or other presentation. Rest of the time can be on answer and questions.

Of course a good virtual contact via a connection with the students is very important so that students feel involved.

Whilst content should be king in this situation sadly when dealing with the YouTube generation connecting with students requires excellent audiovisual and communication skills.

What'sApp is NOT the only medium. Many of us use Teams or Zoom.

yes I know there are many applications available for live teaching. but for kindergarden children, teachers record the video and send using whatsApp.

Dear Shanti Verma ! I totally agree with you that content, visuals and interaction are very important. I also think that the structure and clarity make it also more attractive for students.

I also think that presentation should be linked to very practical situations and cases that will help students to proceed with their careers. So when I explain a topic I always try to find a real case of a company to illustrate the theory. It helps a lot and make the presentation more interesting for students.
