The main challenge to encounter in online testing is the test takers' access to the internet. That is, they get benefit of the internet to answer the questions. Hence, students mostly rely on the internet rather on their mental capabilities.

It can be influential negatively and positively. To consider the positive effects is beneficial for test makers. That is, it helps test makers to make tests that resembles the Internet-Based Large-Scale Standardized Tests like (TOEFL or IELTS), which test the real general proficiencies of test takers.
