Generally, every scholar hopes to publish works in genre of journals called "high impact journals". By their nature, subscriptions to many high impact journals are exorbitant, thus mainly accessible to scholars on sponsorship or grants, implying that those without financial muscles wont have access. In addition, such publications are not often open access. Now, does it mean that  publications in "low impact journals' or "No impact journals" are valueless?. What are the criteria for "value", "usefulness", "significance" in the context of scholarly publications?. This question is germane because many young, upcoming  and freshly minted scholars have built their careers and developed into professionals through access to contents of low and no impact journals. So, should researchers not write or strive to excel because they have no access to high impact journals or capable of producing works that can be published in high impact journals?
