Lot many times...best example is Steven-Johnson disease....or toxic epidermal necrosis. We always warn the patients about this potential side effect and early detection does provide relief.

I believe all medicines have adverse outcomes associated with their use in humans. Many of the most severe adverse outcomes of prescription medicines are identified long after the drug is approved for sales and marketing Why? Because the study drug is not tested on "enough" study volunteers before it is evaluated by regulatory authorities.
