13 August 2019 2 4K Report

I have two strains of animals and three different treatments on each strain (2 strains X 3 treatment). One of the strain (strain 1) was used as control, and the experiment was to test whether treatments improve anything on the diseased strain (strain 2). The results turned out no effect of treatments (treatment 1 and treatment 2) on control strain (strain 1) by one way ANOVA. Now my focus is on the diseased strain (strain 2).

Can I only include four groups to perform one way ANOVA? The four groups are: control strain + control treatment; diseased strain + control treatment; diseased strain + treatment 1; diseased strain + treatment 2 (it is actually pause of treatment 1)?

Do I need to include everything (2 strains X 3 treatment) to perform two way ANOVA?

Thank you very much.
