I started conducting a survey to my Qatar respondents last October 2021 and I am struggling in getting an answers and feedback. I sent an invitation letter to any Organizations, Companies, and Universities. Some allowed me to conduct a survey, and the others did not approve. I also sent an invitation to social media (posted in the Facebook group, personal message, and LinkedIn) and few people responded. I already made a raffle draw to give a reward if the respondents answer my questionnaire and still no one responded.
Out of 399 respondents, 81 participants answered my survey questionnaire. Now, I am here in Saudi for a new job, It makes more difficult for me to get a response from my Qatar respondents. I would like to know if feasible to increase the margin of error from 5% to 10% to lower the number of respondents. If I will do that the number of respondents will be 100. I asked my Thesis Adviser regarding this but she told me to consult a statistician. If the statistician approved, everything will be fine. Is there anyone can help me please, I really want to finish my Thesis so that I can graduate next year. Thank you
I think ppopulation of 100 is ok, you can also validate your results using another tool if it possible. You may use phenomenology like interview to assure your results accuracy.
