Stephen I. Ternyik Surely :) I've worked at Blue Origin also and almost jumped to SpaceX. NASA has actually come very far in recognizing that truth. We used to specify spaceships in great detail and then say "please build one of these." Now we say, "We need to deliver these crews and payloads to the moon [or wherever] and we've got X dollars to buy that service from you. How you do it is up to you as long as you meet the needs and convince us it will work."
