I am trying to analyse some data, doing before a normality test to evaluate the distribution of my data. Some of the treatment didn't have passed the test, even after trying to transform the data, so I decided to perform a non-parametric test (ANOVA on Ranks), but when I try to do it the software says that "normality and equal variance passed. Do you want to run a ONE-WAY ANOVA?". Do you have an explaination for that? Thank you.
The program will perform the non-parametric tests anyway is you continue, this is just a warning because your data does not have a normal distribution.
The software will give you this warning in either case, it's you who have to identify which test to be run and in case of non normal data, you should go for non parametric test
