Nonlinear dependency of integral breadth vs d* in Williamson-Hall method

I am doing an XRD microstructural study (crystallite size and microstrain) of a severely plasticaly deformed material by integral breadth method. But in some cases I have nonlinear dependency beta(s) vs (d*), so Williamson-Hall technique is inapplicable. I found modified Williamson-Hall method. Is that correct way of studies?
