Is it correct that SmartPLS does not include constants in structural equations? I would like to model a u-shape function that is downwardly opened and shifted to the upper right side. However, if no constants are included, I assume that the combined use of a linear and a quadratic effect only allows for modelling a curve that is situated in the origin of the axes? If yes, how can the results be interpreted?
