Hello everyone.
Im seeking some help regarding the attached assignment. I can see from the DEPT 135 analysis that the compound must have 8 carbons: CH/CH3, C, CH/CH3, C, CH/CH3, CH/CH3, C and C.
And i can see from Mass spec. that we have an M+ Peak at 214 and M+2 peak at 216.
The peak at 1686 in IR could indicate an amide, nitril or an C=O from carboxylic acid, right?
I hope someone could help with the final compound structure and the "right" way to approach this assignment or if someone have any Tips/tricks?
All spectra were acquired on a 800 MHz NMR spectrometer dissolved in DMSO-d6.
thanks:)
