I am trying to utilize schiff base reaction for the formation of secondary amine by linking two polymers.
In my NMR, I can observe a very sharp peak of reasonable intensity at about 1.3 ppm.
How can i prove or develop understanding whether i get secondary amines or not?

1-this confirms an secondary amine ??????????? it's peak of (NH).
2-the peak of (NH2) for primary amine it's in range of (6.5 ppm to 2.1ppm) way?????????????it's the solvent effect???????????????.
3-The peak of (NH) for secondry amine in the range of (5.4 ppm to 1.2 ppm) under effect of solvent.
4-The peak of the amine in general will be shielded under the effect of solvent or the method of synthesis.

You won´t have a Schiff base from the reaction involving secondary amine, but an enamine.
But, what deutered solvent did you use?
Further, a "simple" IR spectrum could give relevant you information.
Generally, if you see a peak sharp or broad around 4 - 5 ppm, it may show the presence of NH, provided OH group is absent

Simply, Chem draw can be a useful tool for these type of problem analysis. Just draw the structure and compare with your data.
