I am writing a paper on CHP-PV based microgrid. we have a testbed and functional MG.
1. What are the technical aspects I can cover for that MG?
2. I have already done the economic feasibility analysis using HOMER. How can I correlate the economic feasibility analysis with the power system analysis ?

1. You can cover the operation (e.g. energy management) or planning of the MG.
2. In the power system analysis, you can study the operation of each component. Furthermore, take care about stability issues depending on the penetration level of renewables, since HOMER does not perform this analysis.

Dear Hasan,
CHP-PV micro-grid is a vast topic, you have first to narrow your request for which type you want to design, is your system based on PV and the CHP part is just for back-up? or is it based on both to deliver each a part of the energy needed.... If you want to design a good CHP-PV MG you have to take into consideration the following poitns:
1) Asses your AC/DC consumption and size your loads
2) Size you PV system (you can use PVsyst for example)
3) Check the market "Data sheets" to know which inverters and controllers to choose
4) Size your CHP
5) You can estimate your costs and your payback time and then decide whether your investment is worth it or not

Since you generally ask about the renewable energy based MG and you have worked with HOMER, I think you will find attached publications useful for your research. The first one focuses on analysis done with HOMER and the others are mainly on the energy storage for renewable energy MG.
