I have worked more than 1000 Farmers till date, but non of them have knowledge on how much Chemicals to be used per acre or based on crop, they simply believe shopper who guide them while selling and it become a base % for them to use. even i dont know because we really dont know what chemical proposition should be used based on soil condition and crop condition and what time we should use it.
Everything matters here right?.
Eg. i have MarrieGold flower for an acre, i simply use Urea and NPK and some pestisides along with Cow Dung manure, because on our area everyone one fallow this formula.
Friends, if any one have any idea or research conducted on % of chemicals to be used based crops and soil. it would be greatly usable like farmers whom i'm fallowing to educate them.

@ Rammanand, it depends on soil test value and recommended doses of fertilizers for growing crops. Beside this, type of soil, moisture content and irrigation facilities also matter. Why you want to supply all nutrient from chemical sources. Supplement as much organic matter available in your farm area. It is always better to use 50% nutrient as chemical form and 50% as organic form.
First thing is , let us propagate a minimum dose of chemical fertilizers as starter dose to improvise crop growth and secondly , this exercise is needed to be experimented , as how much fertilizers are to be applied based on soil test report . Let us try to bring a concept of nutrient holiday for crop....in some years as per soil test report, this is where real art of soil test interpretation lies...
Farmers always follow the practice of giving more fertilizers to get more production, but suffer great loss, due to more pest and disease problems. So it is a better topic for discussion. Thank you
