Hello everone..

Just to make my understanding more clear...

When it comes to mutual coupling between two antennas(S12 or S21) and in such a case it is generally believed/evaluated that one antenna remains off and other on and the power transferred from antenna (ON) is calculated at antenna(OFF) infact what we call passive scattering. What happens when both antenna are on simultaneousy and scattering matrices are evaluated(S12 or S21). Do we still call them passive mutual coupling ? Do we have any mechanism or formalism to evaluate that scattering when both antennas are powered on simultaneousy?
