I have been trying to coat MnCO3 microparticles having isoelectric point at pH 7.6 with different biopolymers in aqueous medium.

1. As per my understanding MnCO3 should have positive charge berlow pH 7.6, correct me if I am wrong.

2. My cationic polymer has a lot of primary amine and imine groups, and I plan to use Chondroitin sulfate (sulfated GAG) as an anionic polymer. What should be the best pH value for my system, considering highly acidic conditions are not good for MnCO3.

3. What is the optimal concentration value for polymer solution? I used 1 mg/mL. What should be the v/v or w/v ratio of particles and polymeric solution.

4. How to and for how long should i disperse particles in polymer solution? Do i need continuous stirring? or just dispersion for some time in polymer solution without continuous sonication or stirring?

5. particle in polymer solution takes ages to settle, can i use centrifugation? will it have any effect on polymer coating? some paper suggest it will damage coating.

6. how to analyze the efficacy of coating?
