I am trying air injection to a normal flow of water over a flat plate to see the reduction in drag, what model must be suitable, VOF, Mixture, or Eulerian? Speed of water over plate is about 14-20 m/s. and length of plate is about .80m which makes Re~ 10^7.
air and water are not miscible, i think that VOF will be more appropriate.

Is the process something like a supercavitation? I had seen somewhere else that supercavitation is used for drag reduction in marine vehicles. Is your approach the same?
I am reducing the drag but currently supercavitation is not in the picture.
In this kind of modelling amount of air and water in domain is 1 of important parameter so tell than what are the proportion of them then i can tell you the suitable model
This problem can be solved by similarity method or integral methods....provided u must know the speed of air injecting into the water from wall....any solver is not required...analytical approach..
Malay Suvagiya, the amount of air compared to air is very very less, flow rate of air is ~0.003m^3/s whereas flow rate of water is a two digit number
