Dear all:

I am working on a project, in which I have a bowl-shaped dipole antenna with four ports. In simulation, the antenna is excited using four lumped pors: ports 1 and 3 for one polarization, and ports 2 and 4 for another, whereas in measurement, ports 1/3 and 2/4 will, respectively, be combined in array to former the aforesaid polarizations; my question is: is it looking at S11/33, S22/44 and S12 of the individual port(element) the same as looking at those of the array formed by ports(1,3) and ports(2,4) provided that a good matching network is used? Any guidance will be much appreciated; thanks in advance!
