@Gould. We all understand the current education system has become universal in the free world. However, it seems no longer about educating students adequately. Rather, it has become about money. The people that create standardized testing make a lot of money. Curriculum are being written at lower reading levels. To change systems to a Montessori system which is about self-motivation learning would be costly. At the secondary level tapping into the motivational factor of individual students is very challenging. The stiffolding of the current system has also limited many students to self motivate. This lack of self motivation is promoted by numerous factors that caused an industry of entitlement among the youth of our nation. What is there that rid the self-entitlement of youth and create a need to self motivate them to feel the need to learn the skills that promote a secure life style in the comforts for which they have become accustomed?
