I have a question for all the scholars of the world, why is there a monopoly on scientific knowledge by developed countries? Why do not all citizens of this free world have equal access to this information? Why does a student sitting in Pakistan have access to papers published in all these journals of the world? Why is there a violation of international human rights? I have often read in books that scientific knowledge is public. Then if a few countries have a monopoly on this scientific knowledge, then it is not a serious crime? Doesn't monopoly give rise to global inequality? I want logical answers to these questions.
