In the context of enhancing the resolution of MRI images, a clear idea about the point spread function of the images are needed. In our work, we only have the final reconstructed images (not the raw data), for this we need to model the PSF (guassian, sinc, rect ... ) to go further in our technique.
Can any one suggest some papers that discussed some modelling of PSF for MRI images?

This more recent paper did both simulations and measurements.

In this paper they actually measured the MTF and then did an FFT to get the PSF. This assumes that the PSF is uniform over the image. That assumption is probably fine for the point they are making, but this is not always true in MRI images.
