Does anyone have experience developing plant nutrient uptake models that account for changes in temperature/accumulated growing degree days for crops like canola?
I would like to incorporate growth stage shifts due to temperature into a model but I haven't found much to work off, or I just haven' had much luck in my lit review so far.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aditya Banerjee Thank you for the suggestion. I'll take a look at how I can organize the data into that style of analysis.
I think the problem I'm having so far is that I'm missing a data set which looks at nutrient uptake as a function of growing temperatures, or as a function of the amount of degree days accumulated for the plants. My current model uses the accumulated growing degrees days of canola at different growth stages and the corresponding crop nutrient uptake values at those growth stages. Those two are then used to get a projected total plant uptake for that degree day accumulation.
My issue is that when the growing conditions change from say 17 degrees accumulated each day to say 14 the model says that I would see an increase in nutrient uptake because the growing season gets extended, thus a greater numerator, when intuitively I would expect them to decrease as the plants would respire less, and decrease soil water movement into the plant (assuming that that is the case).
The question here would be whether I'm correct in the assumption that temperature has directly proportional effect on nutrient uptake (assuming plants were grown under optimal moisture conditions with the same PPFD and within reasonable temperature ranges), or whether there are other more dominant factors at play?
