Hello All,
I'm working on Mn XANES K edge spectroscopy. I was wondering if there's any literature reporting what is the identity of the small bump to the right of the pre-edge? (pointed out by the pink arrow here: https://imgur.com/a/vL9cA4o). This figure shows Mn K edge being reduced from Mn7+ to Mn4+.
This bump seems to exist for tetrahedral bounded Ti, V, Cr, and Fe too. Please let me know if you have any clue -- I've been looking for this in the literature but cannot find anything describing it.
Thank you!
