A clinical trial was carried out to assess effect of a drug X on serum progesterone in cattle. A total of 24 animals were divided into three equal groups . The animals in first group served as control, animals in second group were administered with low dose (1 ml IM) where as animals in third group were injected with high dose (3 ml IM) of drug. Each animal was sampled repeated (repeated measures) . For some technical reason, there some missing values are there in data. In short, we have repeated measures data , balanced design and missing values .
We are trying mixed model with lme4 package and want to assistance to decide which model suits our study (P is outcome variable and continuous , TRT (groups , three levels : control , low dose , high dose) , time (time points) .
