I've been using 0.4 µm Hydrophilic PTFE Membrane (https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/product/mm/picm0rg50) to culture mouse retina transplant tissue after in vitro electroporation. I'm ordering more millicell inserts for my experiments and I came across with the 0.45 µm MCE Membrane from millicell (https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/product/mm/piha01250?srsltid=AfmBOoopfVkwADfgPKe9Nd4_5Ap2uSuLrjYPfsYtFvkP9VKaryymetFm). I was wondering what are the different applications people usually do with these two different kinds of membranes. And for my purpose which is to culture the retina transplant tissue, can I use either of them? Thank you!
