In some research articles, they use their own concentration of nano particles instead of MIC against bacterial studies, even though they done MIC. Why?
It depends on your objective of research. MIC is the minimum inhibitory concentration that is the lowest concentration of a chemical which prevents visible growth of a bacterium. When the results were suggest that addition of a sub-MIC concentration killed a fraction of the cells, which leaving the remaining cells unaffected. Now, you take your decision according to the objective of your research.
