MIC 90 and MIC 50 of a bacteria ?

I need to perform MIC 90 and MIC 50 of a bacteria. I have found papers where they are performing the experiments with 10 or 5 different strains of that bacteria which I need to know the MIC 90/MIC 50. Is there any other protocol to do the same. Kindly let me know.

Thank you for your question. I think it depends on the purpose of the experiment with bacteria and the design of the study.
