Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand how the MIBiG repository integrates with the antiSMASH tool. As both of them can be downloaded to custom use, what is actually the difference between them?

The way I sees it, MIBiG composed of only experimentally identified BGCs (there are about 30,000 BGCs right now), whereas the antiSMASH database has bioinformatically-inferred BGCs as well. However, I read both papers and still could not understand it.

Would appreciate any notions and answers!
