Recently, I observed many papers that include the effects of MHD nanoparticles on fluid flow and heat transfer in such base problems in fluid mechanics such as boundary layers.
I want to know that what is the real applications of MHD on fluid flow and heat transfer?
in other words, how much is that efficient?
Which industries applied this concept?

I know one process where MHD is the key point to enhance heat transfer. You can search more details about that on the web. It is magnetic refrigeration, currently used for refrigerator or for the climatisation of some cars developed by Toyota for examples. The magnetic field is used to reach the Currie temperature and after demagnetization, the fluid is colder. This process is used with material like galodinium for which the Currie temperature is close to the room temperature.

I don't know anything about nano particles.
But MHD steering is used in metallurgy.
It has also a huge impact in some electrolisys, such as aluminium production.
It is used in some purification process as well, like for Si.
There is some apllications in plama as well (but I don't know that field).
