MgCl2 or Mg(OAc)2 for ribosome preparation?

I am preparing E. coli 70S ribosomes for cryo-EM and I would like to figure out the best buffer conditions. Looking through the literature, it looks like many groups use MgCl2 versus many others use Mg(OAc)2? Which counterion would be better? Is there any advantage of using one or the other salt?
