I am appreciating your effort in conducting a research proposal on the African Union. The AU focus on different sectoral, institutional and developmental aspects of the different African countries. The methodology construction needs to be referred to many articles, documents, and reports because AU is a very sensitive body to deliver the developmental issues according to the country-specific ideas including other prosperity. I am recommending you to do research on AU on Institutional focus of multi-cultural developmental perspectives. Anyhow, I will add some more points for this research ahead. Meantime, you can try to update from the different viewers and users of RG.

First and foremost, thank you so much for you reply. As part of the dissertation folder, we have had to write up a bibliography with sources that we may use to when writing up the essay. I have found that most of these sources are written sources and for this reason, it seems qualitative methods would be the best for me.

In response to your question, my access to sources is through the University of Birmingham, more specifically through my course department of African Studies & Anthropology. So because of this, it is generally limited to sources that fall under these categories of study. Do you have any suggestions of a qualitative method that would be suitable for my research topic based on my access to sources?

First and foremost, thank you so much for your reply. I am understanding that it is important that I approach this topic with sensitivity. Would you suggest any specific ways that I would go about this e.g. using sources produced by predominately African writers, choosing one country of focus etc.

Also could you please clarify what is meant by 'multi-cultural developmental perspectives.' I look forward to hearing your suggestions.
