While considering studies for inclusion into a meta analysis on a particular subject, some studies (mostly with negative results) that are unpublished may remain un-included, even after best efforts. Is there a way to predict the impact of this inclusion error? Otherwise how can the correctness and reliability of a meta analysis be justified without a remark on how much the error in the analysis may be?
