I'm going to evaluate plastic film degradation in soil. Among other tests, I will carry out also a meshbag experiment.

I've found many papers that used nylon or PE mashbags (1-0.25mm holes) but these materials seems hard to be found, at least in Italy.

I am thinking to use glassfiber mosquito-net instead. Does anyone has some experience with fiberglass and mulch film in soil? Should I expect some chemical effect of the fiberglass on the plastic film?
