Undoubtely, COVID-19 has affected the Mental Health and Physical Status in Obesity patients. So, it is necessary to recommend to our patients to be engaged in different activities that keep motivated their minds during the lockdown period. Furthermore it´s necessary also to encourage them to do daily physical exercise at home according with their particular capacities.

Based on Marks 2015, we showed an homeostasis system linking low self-esteem with negative affect, comfort eating and overweight. Intervention to alter the dynamics of the system are presented as replacing comfort eating with exercise, aiming to increase self-esteem and control weight gain
The lockdown and social distancing restrictions have made people restricted in their homes eating, no exercise and no open gyms hence weight gain and obesity risk is high. Evenly, the constriction in homes has made people psychologically disturbed and events such as domestic violence, depression and headaches have risen. As such, these conditions are positively related to covid-19 pandemic and its resultant effects
