I have run a mediation in AMOS using bootstrapping. Please where do I find the t-stats (value) for the indirect effect coefficients. Or in actual fact it is not possible to have this since the indirect effect is a product of two direct effects.
You first need to select the "Indirect and direct effect' in AMOS testing window. Meanwhile you can also select bootstrapping i.e. re sampling either 2000 or more and bias method correct 95%(often recommended) in the same window. Once you done it, You can run AMOS. Thus, you can find results in Estimate>Matric> Indirect & Direct estimate. Similarly, you can find below in another tab significant values if you paths are significant or not. For more detail, you can watch James Videos of Mediation.
Thank you for your response, but I am afraid you have not answered my question. I know how to run AMOS and have viewed James Gaskin videos before.
My specific was about the t-stats (value) for the indirect effect coefficients. Where do I find them. I have the t-values for the direct effects, but I am looking also that for the indirect effects.
Hi, this is what I told. If You have selected the option "Direct and Indirect effect" in test window, you will find indirect t values also. Otherwise you will find only direct T values.
