Hi,

I'm currently working on developing a treatment of fish slaughterhouse wastewater by chemical coagulation. This water typically consists of both sea water and fresh water. For finding the optimal dosage of coagulants, I would like to use a Particle Charge Analyzer.

However, due to the salinity and hence the conductivity of the water, I'm unsure if this method is suitable. Has anyone used PCA to determine the optimal cogaulation dosage in seawater-containing wastewater, and if yes, how did you dilute your sample?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Mia
