I am not certain how many dispensors i could use in scattered , unorganised and neglected plants of apple plants. I am finding one , 5,10 and a mximum of fifty plants at various places. so no organised orchards. it is sin to kill pests in I that area. I am using the scientific diplomacy to use oheromone traps and dispensors for managing this pest.
May anybody share his experience for the above

If you would like only to monitor the pest and to know when it will appear or to know the no. of generations, then, I think 1 or 2 per dunum is enough for that, but if you would like to attract and kill all the pest individuals in your orchard it is so important for you to use 5-10 traps per dunum (1 ha equal 10 dunums) depending on the level of infesation. This will depend on your knowledge from the field histroy.

Dear Hussain, to control Codling moth, Cydia pomonella in apple orchards;
We use one pheromone trap per tree within Mass Trapping Technique in Turkey.
Within Mating Disruption Technique, we use 1000 dispenser (wire like) per hectare
