Hi Steingrimur, we will be ligating left anterior descending coronary artery in rats to induced infarction. I have read in the literature that CD31 is an endothelial cell marker. VEGFR are found in myofibroblasts and non-endothelial cells.

Hi Mihir thanks for the info. Quick question, have you ever seen metastasis or tumor progression in the heart muscle or surrounding stromal cells?

Hi Mihir, cd31and VEGRF are definitely endo markers but are also on platelets. Quick question again are there more platelets markers around heart damage then other organs?
