Plastic ban is a blasphemy in India. I belong to an Indian state too, where plastic has been banned; However, except some reputed organizations, the remaining smaller ones still use plastic. Arvind Singh's ideas of jute bags are a good alternative. Biodegradable plastic bags are in vogue now. Cloth bags have also made their appearance.
