I need to know what months can be considered as growing season for submerged macrophytes in shallow freshwater lakes in my country, Turkey. I have four different lakes from 4 different geographical regions. Lake Uluabat, Lake Marmara, Lake Beyşehir and Lake Mogan. So how can I know timing of the "growing season" for macrophytes in these lakes? Is there a general guideline I can follow? Thanks in advance!
