I have designed an electrochemical cell with a large working electrode (WE) surface area. I want to put a luggin capillary closer to the WE surface (capillary tip outer diameter is 1.5 mm, inner diameter ~0.7 mm).

1. Can I place the capillary 3 mm away from the WE in parallel position according to the attached figures?

2. Or the tip should be faced toward the WE?

3. For the optimum reference conditions, should I move the Luggin capillary tip to the center of the working electrode?
