Hello,

I am modeling a crash between auto and traffic barrier. The barrier is made of several parts connected. I have defined spotweld to constraint some nodes in my model (to represent bolts). When I ran the simulation I got this message:

Nodal constraint failed between nodes #number and #number  at time   0.0000E+00 : Axial =  0.00000E+00 Shear =  0.00000E+00

One for each spotweld, it means that all my constraints failed at the very beginning with no force at all. Any idea what could have caused this problem?

I have checked and the nodes involved are not constrained by other functions, and the axial and shear strength were defined to values high enough to prevent failure during self-weight application.
