I mean can I affirmed that it's as been proved by multiply research that translanguaging pedagogy help all children. I want to use this as a start of my research question. So do you think I can confidently use this affirmation?
In Catalonia, students learn and study two languages at the same time at a very high level (Spanish and Catalan). Also, as a foreign language they study English. They are students who can easily adapt to this fact and help them to continue learning new languages.
Yes it is to talk about students in dual-language school :) I am a French teacher in a French Americaine dual language school in California. And I don’t understand why, knowing all of those research in translanguaging, we are still separating the languages inside theSE schools? It bother me so much that it is going to be my research question for my master thesis.
Here in the Philippines we use multilingual because of so many dialects and all people are using it everyday. That case of yours is maybe we can call it attrition, gradually it will die for they do no use it anymore because of their environment. They do not use their mother tongue anymore for everybody (in their community) speaks the same language of yours. They can still understand their language but cannot fluently express.
