Molecular methods represent the most accurate and rapid methods for detection of bacteria which give rise to Infectious diseases. The WHO approved LAMP method has been successfully used in Pulmonary and Extra Pulmonary TB detection and it could be a useful tool in extending this to Ocular TB.

Any experiences in DNA detection from Ocular fluids will be welcome? Also, in case of ocular TB, what is the best treatment method?

Thanks
