I'm looking for some physical and mechanical properties of 2 wood species:
Nothofagus pumilio and Berberis sp.
Specifically, their density, Young's modulus (i.e., elasticity), and Poisson's ratio (longitudinal, radial, tangential).
Is anyone willing to provide data or references?

@ María: Unfortunately the database doesn't include any physical or mechanical properties of woods, it's more about their anatomical characterization. But I'll definitely bookmark this link. Thanks!
@ Washim: Thanks for the pdfs. Unfortunately these papers don't include the properties and/or woods I'm looking for, but I'll surely go through their reference lists to see if I can find anything.

It seems that Tortorelli's book (I've just got access to the index) may have the properties that I'm looking for of Nothofagus pumilio (page 310 >), but not of Berberis sp.. Would you by any chance have access to the Nothofagus pumilio's pages? If so, I would be most grateful if you could share them in pdf or in any other digital format.
Now, in search for Berberis sp.'s density and mechanical properties :)

@Ramiro: Thanks for sharing the link! I've also been using this 'must have' book for quite some time. Although American beech and Nothofagus pumilio species belong to the same order, they unfortunately (for my study, of course) belong to different families and genus...

I have somme colleagues working in tierra del fuego may be we can ask them if the can send you samples to do the work in your lab? it's always be interesting to have these informations... in any case the physical properties can vary in focntion of wood state also, then even if you could found values frome one condition may they are different in another ones...
