Our research team has recently developed a tool ( Crisis Intervention Outcome Measurement - CIOM) and are struggling with the implementation phase of this project. We are looking for examples in the literature for alternatives to the Pre-Post Model since difficult to survey victims/survivors to an event like the recent Las Vegas Shooting (USA)......Would appreciate any and all literature that addresses this issue or even research projects currently in process... Together with your CIOM you can use a scale for PTSD as well as for BDI and BAI. I think you then cover what happened. You can look at my papers from war survival or leukemia survival. Then you can add interviews from a smaller sample and make combined quantitative and qualitative research.
Obviously it is difficult to attach papers in RG now. An example of interviews:
