Hello everyone, I'm trying to find a method for quantifying essential amino acids in milk using gc/ms or HPLC/UV/FID. I found a technical note by the American Dairy Science Association with a single method for all the AA that I'm interested in including TRP.
However, the hydrolysis method in the article uses capillary tubes in vacuum, which i have never used and couldn't find practical information online (Like how do i get an accurate amount of sample inside the tube, what equipment to use etc.)
Has anyone used this method (not necessarily for milk) and is willing to share his/hers protocol with me?
